Leading organic consultancy expands its network of experts and its services to further benefit organic enterprises
(NEW CASTLE, Va. – Sept. 14, 2022) An organic industry pioneer for nearly 40 years, consultancy Wolf & Associates today announced an evolution in its leadership to support the agency’s growth and newly expanded services. Senior Associate John Foster now serves as Chief Operations Officer and Senior Associate Sue Wagner serves as Vice President of Administration to continue to advance the team and leverage the consultancy’s talent pool of associates with deep experience in the organic industry. Agency Founder Bill Wolf continues to serve as Chief Executive Officer and President.
“For decades Wolf & Associates has been honored to guide organic farmers and enterprises to reach their full potential in the organic industry,” said Wolf, who is also an organic grower and a past president of the Organic Trade Association board of directors. “John and Sue bring a depth of experience in the organic industry and in these new roles can oversee what I like to call Wolf & Associates 3.0 – the next chapter in serving our clients and the overall organic community.”
Drawing from its international roster of more than 25 organic subject matter experts, Foster and Wagner will now facilitate deploying and overseeing client service teams based on each client’s distinct challenges and needs, whether that enterprise is newly transitioning to organic practices or a mature organic brand or agricultural business.
“I’m excited to take over as COO and help Bill with strategic planning for the future of the organic industry and our own organic-focused business,” said Foster, who has worked for some of the nation’s top organic produce brands and USDA accredited certifiers of organic and served a term on the National Organic Standards Board. “Sue and I are honored with these new roles and continue implementing Bill’s vision for the organic industry with meaningful and measurable action.”
